Brass is an alloy consisting of 60% copper and 35% zinc. It is an ideal combination for fast and even heating.
Unlimited Options
All slotted heads are custom made. BIU can, therefore, accommodate any number of characters needed. This allows the user to interchange any combination of words, dates, names and all other forms of copy.Character sizes can be as small as 3/16” and up, and virtually any size and any font can be accomodated when produced custom. We also sell stock characters in 5 of our most popular sizes: 1/4". 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" and 1". These can be purchased online and ship in a matter of days. Simply print out the file on letter size paper, making sure that Page Scaling is set to: None.

Firmly Secured
A slotted head includes two stops with set-screws. The stops are used for securing the brass T-Slot dies in place, preventing them from sliding.Customized to Your Preference
A slotted head with double or multiple T-Slots can be made per customer specifications. Each slot can accommodate T-Slot dies with a deferent character size.Since brass T-Slot dies are custom made, a wide variety of fonts can be used.
To ensure clear branded marks, BIU recommends that bold fonts be avoided when very small character sizes are required.
Combination Options
A T-Slot can also be added to a solid image die for desired branding variations.
