Temperature Control
A Temperature Control Unit allows the user to find and set just the right degree of heat for any specific application. This accessory regulates the amount of power transferred into the heating element so the user can control how dark the impression is and strategize the appropriate dwell time.
Two temperature control models are offered, depending on the wattage of the heating element required.
Product Features:
The 120-Watt through the 500-Watt Branding Irons use the standard temperature control unit. This temperature control unit has an easy to read dial which serves as a power-input regulator. It has a weighted base with non-skid feet and a six-foot heavy-duty flexible power cord.
700W
A 700-Watt Branding Iron and other irons of higher wattage use a voltage control unit that, in essence is a heavy-duty temperature control unit. This device allows the user to vary the voltage to the iron. This unit has a solid state fuse-protected circuit that is grounded with a three-wire cord. The heavy-duty voltage control unit also has a high impact Thermoset case to ensure a long, maintenance-free life.
